Description

The sealant is a clear water-repellent sealer, which prevents water and chloride intrusion into concrete bridge decks, parking decks and abutments. It penetrates deep into the concrete and masonry surfaces and provides long-term protection. It is used with cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete panels, concrete block, cement, stucco, stone and clay masonry.

Composition and Materials

The material contains oligomerous silane and siloxane blend diluted in an organic solvent carrier. The small molecular size of reactive siloxane/silane allows maximum penetration into the substrate, where it reacts chemically with cement. This chemical reaction provides a permanent bond of the active water-repellent material. The materialIt is breathable and allows moisture to escape freely. The sealant is not designed to waterproof cracked surfaces under wind driven rain or other severe conditions. Plants, cars, glass, metal, wood, bitumen, caulking and painted surfaces must be protected from over-spray. Use mineral spirits to immediately remove any accidental over-spray.
